Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You need a valid email address, or a Google account if you sign in with Google. Keep your credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

What Compndr is

Compndr is a record-keeping, calculation, information and educational tool. You enter or import your transactions and holdings; Compndr combines them with third-party market data and shows valuations, performance history, allocation, replay, projections, a Daily Briefing and AI-generated commentary.

Compndr does not execute trades, does not connect to brokers or exchanges to transact, and never holds your money or investment assets. Everything you see is a representation of the data you provided combined with data from other sources.

Not financial advice

Compndr is general information only. Nothing in Compndr — including projections, analytics, the Daily Briefing and Ask Compndr responses — is financial product advice, investment advice, tax advice or legal advice, and none of it takes into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.

• Projections and scenarios are hypothetical arithmetic based on assumptions you choose. They are not forecasts or guarantees.
• Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• You remain solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
• Consider obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified and licensed professional before making a financial decision.

Your data and acceptable use

You keep ownership of the portfolio data you enter or import, and you grant us the permission needed to store and process it so we can provide the service. You are responsible for its accuracy — Compndr's calculations are only as reliable as the records you keep. You agree not to misuse Compndr: no attempting to access other users' data, no scraping or automated bulk access, no interfering with or overloading the service, no circumventing rate limits, Seeds costs or entitlements, and no uploading unlawful or infringing content.

Market data and third-party services

Prices, historical series, exchange rates and news come from third-party providers. That data may be delayed, incomplete, adjusted or occasionally wrong, and coverage varies by asset. We do not guarantee its accuracy or continued availability, and a provider may change or withdraw access at any time.

AI features

Ask Compndr, the Daily Briefing and screenshot import use AI models operated by third parties. To answer, a factual summary of your portfolio (and, for screenshot import, the image you upload) is sent to the AI provider — see the Privacy Policy.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, even when it sounds confident. It is designed to explain your own numbers rather than recommend actions. Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for any financial decision, and check anything important against your own records.

Seeds

Seeds are Compndr's closed-loop in-app reward currency. Seeds are not money, not cryptocurrency, not an investment and not a financial product. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, and exist only inside Compndr.

You may earn Seeds through eligible activity in the app and spend them on eligible features such as Ask Compndr. We may change how Seeds are earned or spent, their availability, and balances where reasonably required to operate, correct an error, or protect the service against abuse — subject to applicable law. Seeds are forfeited when your account is closed.

Availability and changes

Compndr is under active development. Features, data sources, limits and pricing may change, and parts of the service may be unavailable, interrupted or contain errors. We may add, modify or remove features at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we recommend keeping your own records of your transactions.

Suspension, termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.

Intellectual property

Compndr — including its software, design, branding and content, other than data you supply and third-party data — remains our property or that of our licensors. You may use it only as permitted by these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compndr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, from third-party data, or from reliance on anything the service presents.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of resupply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will update this page and the date below. Continuing to use Compndr after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and contact
