Who we are

Compndr is operated by Alain Codino as a sole trader, ABN 97 259 119 147. You can reach us at hello@compndr.io.

Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You need a valid email address, or a Google account if you sign in with Google. Keep your credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

What Compndr is and is not

Compndr is a record-keeping, calculation, information and educational tool. You enter or import your transactions and holdings; Compndr combines them with third-party market data and shows valuations, performance history, allocation, replay, projections, a Daily Briefing and AI-generated commentary.

Compndr does not execute trades, does not connect to brokers or exchanges to transact, and never holds your money or investment assets. Everything you see is a representation of the data you provided combined with data from other sources.

Not financial advice

Compndr is general information only. Nothing in Compndr — including projections, analytics, the Daily Briefing and Ask Compndr responses — is financial product advice, investment advice, tax advice or legal advice, and none of it takes into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.

• Projections and scenarios are hypothetical arithmetic based on assumptions you choose. They are not forecasts or guarantees.
• Past performance does not guarantee future results.
• You remain solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
• Consider obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified and licensed professional before making a financial decision.

Your account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@compndr.io if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.

Your data and acceptable use

You keep ownership of the portfolio data you enter or import, and you grant us the permission needed to store and process it so we can provide the service. You are responsible for its accuracy — Compndr's calculations are only as reliable as the records you keep. You agree not to misuse Compndr: no attempting to access other users' data, no scraping or automated bulk access, no interfering with or overloading the service, no circumventing rate limits, Seeds costs or entitlements, and no uploading unlawful or infringing content.

Portfolios, imports and accuracy

You may create and manage one or more portfolios within your account limits. Free accounts can access one portfolio; Premium accounts may access up to five. We preserve your data if Premium lapses, but additional portfolios beyond the Free limit become inaccessible until Premium is restored. Imported data depends on the file you supply; we store the original raw import row so you can review what was imported.

Wallet tracking

Wallet tracking is read-only. You may add public wallet addresses so Compndr can display token balances and transactions from public blockchains. Compndr never asks for your private keys, seed phrase, wallet password or signing authority, and cannot initiate transactions on your behalf. Cost basis and purchase history for wallet assets are unknown unless you separately record them as transactions.

Market data and third-party services

Prices, historical series, exchange rates and news come from third-party providers. That data may be delayed, incomplete, adjusted or occasionally wrong, and coverage varies by asset. We do not guarantee its accuracy or continued availability, and a provider may change or withdraw access at any time.

AI features and their limits

Ask Compndr, the Daily Briefing and screenshot import use AI models operated by third parties. To answer, a factual summary of your portfolio (and, for screenshot import, the image you upload) is sent to the AI provider — see the Privacy Policy.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, even when it sounds confident. It is designed to explain your own numbers rather than recommend actions. Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for any financial decision, and check anything important against your own records.

Seeds

Seeds are Compndr's closed-loop in-app reward currency. Seeds are not money, not cryptocurrency, not an investment and not a financial product. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, and exist only inside Compndr.

You may earn Seeds through eligible activity in the app and spend them on eligible features such as Ask Compndr. We may change how Seeds are earned or spent, their availability, and balances where reasonably required to operate, correct an error, or protect the service against abuse — subject to applicable law. In the future we may offer Free users optional rewarded advertising to earn additional Seeds, but only if and when that feature is implemented. Seeds are forfeited when your account is closed.

Free and Premium

Compndr offers Free and Premium tiers. Free accounts can access one portfolio and the standard feature set. Premium accounts can access up to five portfolios and additional features such as Advanced Insights, Advanced Planning scenarios and expanded Daily Briefing depth.

Current status. Premium is currently complimentary-only. No paid subscriptions are active today and you cannot yet pay for Premium inside the app.

Intended pricing. When paid subscriptions launch, we intend to offer Premium at AUD A$10 per month or AUD A$100 per year, auto-renewing, with no free trial initially. The exact timing, currency, billing cycle and payment provider will be confirmed before any paid billing goes live.

Billing and renewal. Once paid subscriptions are available, subscriptions will auto-renew at the chosen interval until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the billing interface or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will retain Premium access until then.

Refunds. Other than the non-excludable rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, we do not offer general refunds or cooling-off periods. If you believe you are entitled to a remedy, contact us at hello@compndr.io.

When Premium ends. If Premium lapses or is cancelled, your additional portfolios are preserved but locked; you can access them again if Premium is restored. Your primary portfolio and Free features remain available.

Advertising

Compndr does not currently display advertising. We may in the future offer optional rewarded advertising to Free users as a way to earn additional Seeds, but only if and when that feature is implemented. Premium users will remain ad-free, and sensitive surfaces (such as Ask answers, Daily Briefing narrative, authentication, transaction entry and imports) will remain ad-free.

Availability and changes

Compndr is under active development. Features, data sources, limits and pricing may change, and parts of the service may be unavailable, interrupted or contain errors. We may add, modify or remove features at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we recommend keeping your own records of your transactions.

Suspension, termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your portfolio data, transactions, goals, Seeds and profile information as described in the Privacy Policy. Some operational records required for security, audit or legal purposes may be retained for a limited period. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.

Intellectual property

Compndr — including its software, design, branding and content, other than data you supply and third-party data — remains our property or that of our licensors. You may use it only as permitted by these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compndr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except for any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, from third-party data, or from reliance on anything the service presents. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any non-excludable consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of resupply.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory, Australia.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will update this page and the date below. Continuing to use Compndr after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
